Mission

The primary mission of the Department of Journalism is to train media professionals capable of producing content for both traditional and digital media. The journalism department curriculum is designed to enable our students to keep up with the times in parallel with advancing communication technologies. Through the domestic and international industry connections we have established, our students are also provided with the opportunity to experience the journalism profession from the perspective of industry experts.

Vision

Our university’s Department of Journalism aims to provide students with a multidimensional approach to education and training, convey contemporary developments in communication science, and offer general cultural knowledge that will help them excel in their profession. In line with this goal, our department aims to contribute to society by cultivating innovative individuals who can think critically, adhere to ethical principles, and respect national and professional values.
